17 Years of the Nimitz Golf Classic!
Join us for the 17th Annual Nimitz Golf Classic, a special event combining golf and history and this year, commemorating the 250th Anniversary of our Country—a unique combination of golf and history. Over the years, the Nimitz Golf Classic has raised more than $3.8 million for the Museum. Additionally, over $285,000 has been donated to co-beneficiaries selected from nonprofits dedicated to supporting our veteran communities.
This exciting event begins with a dinner and live auction on Thursday, June 4. The golf tournament is Friday, June 5, at our host, Boot Ranch. Play begins at 9:30 am with a “Shotgun Start” immediately following.
VFW Post #7105
In 2025, thanks to your incredible support, we proudly donated $5,000 to VFW of Fredericksburg Post #7105, the co-beneficiary of the Nimitz Golf Classic. The VFW is currently working on a capital campaign to replace the current building. VFW POST 7105 is a nonprofit (501 c19) organization comprised of veterans of foreign wars of the United States that supports the military and veterans of all generations.
